BEHIND THE MOVIE INCEPTION IS IT POSSIBLE.

INCEPTION:

Dom Cobb is a skilled thief, the absolute best in the dangerous art ofextraction, stealing valuable secrets from deep within the subconscious during the dream state, when the mind is at its most vulnerable. Cobb's rare ability has made him a coveted player in this treacherous new world of corporate espionage, but it has also made him an international fugitive and cost him everything he has ever loved.

Now Cobb is being offered a chance at redemption. One last job could give him his life back but only if he can accomplish the impossible inception. Instead of the perfect heist, Cobb and his team of specialists have to pull off the reverse: their task is not to steal an idea but to plant one.

If they succeed, it could be the perfect crime. But no amount of careful planning or expertise can prepare the team for the dangerous enemy that seems to predict their every move. An enemy that only Cobb could have seen coming.

I hope you watched the movie. Since watching the movie Inception, I have been fascinated with the idea of this ‘dream within a dream’ and the other theories about dreaming.. I think this is 100% true because where do people get these ideas from? Belowis some information which suggests that dreams can be altered by your subconscious mind.

Dreams are successions of images, ideas, emotions and sensations occurring involuntarily in the mind during certain stages of sleep. The content and purpose of dreams are not yet understood, though they have been a topic of speculation and interest throughout recorded history. The scientific study of dreams is known as oneirology.

The visual nature of dreams is generally highly phantasmagoric; that is, different locations and objects continuously blend into each other. The visuals including locations, characters/people, objects/artifacts are generally reflective of a person’s memories and experiences, but often take on highly exaggerated and bizarre forms.

Dreams are not complete understood, still to this day, Many people believe they are reflections of the subconscious. They could be spiritual messages from god, messages from the deceased or predictions of the future… During a typical lifespan, a person spends a total of about six years dreaming! Most dreams only last 5 to 20 minutes.

It is unknown where in the brain dreams originate, if there is a single origin for dreams or if multiple portions of the brain are involved, or what the purpose of dreaming is for the body or mind. It’s said that dreams regulate stress, mood, emotions in repressed parts of the mind.

LUCID DREAMING,

A Lucid Dream is a dream where the person sleeping becomes conscious and aware that they are dreaming. Once this consciousness is achieved, the dreamer is able to engage and even manipulate the dream as they desire. Since the dream is a re-creation from the dreamer's own mind, the possibilities of what can be done in the dream is limited only by their own imagination.

A lucid dream is a dream where you know you’re dreaming and have full control over the dream. Lucid dreaming is a natural phenomenon, a science, and an art. As a natural phenomenon lucid dreaming has surely existed as long as dreams have. As an art it has been practiced for thousands of years, and across many cultures.

Lucid dreaming was first described as a practice in the Upanishads, various Yoga Sutras, andin many Tibetan Buddhist texts. As a scientific practice lucid dreaming has existed since 1898, when Frederik van Eeden first coined the term “lucid dreaming” in his report, The Study of Dreams.

Nowadays, due in large part to scientists such as Stephen LaBerge, lucid dreaming institutes are hard at work providing the study of lucid dreaming with unprecedented discoveries and evidence.Lucid dreaming has been verified as a state of consciousness with “definable and measurable differences” from waking life and REM sleep.
It has been physiologically verified as a legitimate occurrence using EEG scans, polygraphs, the intentional useof planned signals while a person is lucid dreaming, and more.

Is it possible to directly access someone's dreaming mind?

A device does already exist that can effectively read someone’s mind. A functional MRI scanner takes snapshots of brain activity, and then the software recreates images of what the subject was looking at.

Normally how does a MRI SCAN works.

The person lies inside a large, cylinder-shaped magnet.Radio waves 10,000 to 30,000 times stronger than the magnetic field of the earth are then sent through the body. This strong magnetic field causes the alignment of particles, called protons which are found naturally within the body, mostly in hydrogen atoms.Hydrogen, together with oxygen and carbon, make up 99 per cent of the average human body, and therefore almost all the protons found within the body are affected by the strong magnetic field.

This allows detailed MRI images to be created Once the magnetic field is switched off, the protons begin to lose their alignment, and go back to the position they were in before the magnetic field was applied. As they move back into their original positions, they send out radio waves of their own. The scanner picks up these signals and a computer turns them into a picture. These pictures are based on the location and strength of the incoming signals.

Different protons send out different signals, depending on which tissue the proton can be found in. For example, a proton found in bone will emit a very different radio wave signal when compared to a protonfound in blood. It is these signal differences which allow a picture to be created, and allow different tissues or structures to be distinguished from one another.

What does an MRI scan show.

Using an MRI scanner, it is possible to make pictures of almost all the tissue in the body. we can access and image what the person dreaming or doing in his sleep. Going through another persons dream Adding on this point further, let us assume that somehow we are able to read someone's mind and know what he/she is dreaming of.

How do you expect another person to experience the same dream?

To make the second person see the same dream, we need to alter his brain state. Neurons and Synapsesmust be manipulated to match the dreamer's.Major parts of the brain must be altered. Changes in this scale isn't possible.

So still now it's not proved there is nothing is impossible untill we discover.
